With the dawn of redeeming grace, Jesus, Lord at thy birth Jesus, Lord at thy birth. Silent night, Holy night Shepherds quake, at the sight Glories stream from heaven above Heavenly, hosts sing Hallelujah. Christ the Savior is born, Christ the Savior is born.

Opening Prayer God, as we listen to your word, let the message of Jesus be heard. Please fill our world with love, as we wait for His coming. AMEN

You bring us together to pray in one loving family. Lord have mercy You came to proclaim the Good News to the world. Christ have mercy Christ, have mercy. You came to lead us away from sin. Lord have mercy

Alleluia, Alleluia,

A reading from the Holy Gospel according to St. Matthew Glory to you, oh Lord The Gospel of the Lord Praise to you Lord Jesus Christ

Alleluia, Alleluia,

Time to reflect on what we have heard in our Gospel today. I wonder what you heard in the Gospel today? I wonder how John the Baptist felt when he heard the news that everyone was talking about Jesus and his wonderful work. How do you feel when your receive wonderful news?

Ritual Response

The response is sung: Lord hear our prayer For all God’s family who share the good news of his love. Lord, in your mercy… For all who suffer because they are blind or deaf. For people who have died, and those who miss them. For an end to war and hatred in our world.

let us share our unspoken prayers with him. Knowing that our heavenly Father is listening, in the silence of our hearts let us share our unspoken prayers with him.

Let us pray together. Loving Father, Listen to our prayers and help our love to shine out and brighten our world. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen

And the angels sang, “Peace on earth!” And the angels sang, “Praise His glorious Name!” And the angels sang, “Hallelujah!” and “Hallelujah!” again. On a quiet hillside, in the darkness of the night, Choirs of angels sang and filled the skies with heavenly light. Shepherds heard their music as they dozed around their flock. Up they jumped, and they began to do the Christmas Rock! Repeat Join in with the angels singing, “Glory to the Lord!” Oh, join in with the angels singing, “Glory to the Lord!” Come and join in with the angels singing, “Glory to the Lord!”, For a Saviour has been born! And the angels sang, “Peace on earth!”… Join in with the angels singing, “Glory to the Lord!” … And the angels sang, “Peace on earth!”…
