8. Why was Jesus ignored by the people of Nazareth ? Why did Jesus compare himself with the prophets ? What did Jesus say to infuriate the people ? Did Jesus come to any harm?

9. As brothers and sisters in one loving family let us pray together: The response is sung, Lord hear our prayer. Let us pray for God’s Church throughout the world; may our love for God and one another allow his kingdom to grow. Lord hear our prayer. Let us pray that Christ is not ignored in our world today. But we may al listen to him and learn to love him. Lord hear our prayer. Let us pray for peace and reconciliation in our lives; may we forgive others as God forgives us. Lord hear our prayer. Let us pray for all who suffer in mind or body; may God strengthen them and ease their pain. Lord hear our prayer
