A Triple Beam Scale is used to find Mass

A Flask is used to measure volume and store liquids.

Beakers come in different sizes. Beakers measure volume of liquids Beakers can be used to hold liquids

Graduated Cylinders are used to accurately measure liquids The Graduated Cylinder on the left has 3 parts. The actual cylinder- which holds the liquid, the base- which helps the cylinder stay standing, the ring- which helps you read the correct volume. What is the meniscus?

Test tubes are used to hold materials during lab experiments.

Test tube holders are used when you want to heat what is in the test tube and are holding it over an open flame

Tongs to hold a beaker when heating the material inside the beaker over an open flame.

A Petri Dish is used to culture or grow different matter, such as bacteria, fungi, etc.

Pipettes are used to add small amounts of liquid to a container or other matter.

The Ring Stand and Rings go together. There are different size rings which are used to hold different containers. You use the ring stand and rings to hold containers while heater the materials in the containers. The ring stand may be used for other experiments and not just heating materials
