Why Study This Subject? Our soul’s salvation depends on the truth of Christ’s return Our reward for obeying God’s word depends our resurrection with Christ If the dead rise not, our faith is vain and we are still in our sins (1Cor. 15:17) Some believe there is no resurrection Some believe in a Rapture, Premillenialism, and other “…isms” Some believe that Christ will return, but will set up an earthly kingdom Some believe that they can predict when Christ will return, and etc., etc.

Where Is Christ Now? 1. God swore He would raise up the Christ to sit on His throne. Acts 2:30 2. Christ died and was raised. Acts 2:30-33; Rom. 14:9; 1Cor. 15: Christ is now reigning in heaven. Heb. 9:24; Acts 1:11; 1Cor. 15:25; 1Pet. 3: Christ now sits on the throne of David. Luke 1:32; Acts 2: Christ is now preparing a place in heaven for us. John. 14:2-3; Matt. 25:34
