INTRODUCTION Celcom Axiata Berhad, is the oldest mobile telecommunications company in Malaysia. The owner is Tan Sri Tajuddin Ramli. Celcom’s headquarters is located at Kuala Lumpur. Celcom started its operation as STM Cellular Communications in 1988.

Business proposal A proposal to set up a nursery named KinderCare. By having a nursery, it will bring many benefits to the employees and the company. The set up for this nursery is basically nearby the Celcom Center Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC).

Many employees already married and have children. The employees do not meet the specified time when they come to work. Employees have problem in sending their children to the day care that located far from office. Employees quit their job to take care of their children. PROBLEM STATEMENT

GOALS 1.Produce motivated employees: Produce employees who are disciplined and obedient to the conditions that the company has set. 2.Help to reduce employee’s burden: Help employees to reduce their stress because they need to do a multiple tasks at one time include looking after their children. 3.Prevent the child abuse cases: With complete equipment provided in this nursery, child safety is guaranteed.

OBJECTIVES 1.To motivate the employees to be more punctual: They do not have to bother to send their children to any day care center that is far from their workplaces. 2. To facilitate the employees to send their children to the day care : Help them easier to monitor the movement of their children. 3. To provide the employees a comfortable place to take care of their children: Facilities available at the nursery are equipped to meet the needs and desires of children and parents.

STRATEGIES OF IMPLEMENTATION 1.Select committee members. 2.Call for a meeting. 3.Finding out about the day care business. 4.Brainstorming to determine the name and place for the nursery.

5.Work out the budget for the project. 6.Get a license from the Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development Malaysia. 7.Hiring educated teachers, assistant nursery and babysitters with qualifications. 8.Starting operation.

BUDGET

Staffing Number of staff required in the KinderCare is six people. Qualification needs for teacher is: -Need to have some knowledge in children education -Must have a sense of compassion and love to children -Must be patient and understand child Qualification needs for babysitter: -Needs to have knowledge on how to handle the baby in term of how to feed them, how to bath them on others. Qualification needs for nursery assistance: Needs to have knowledge in how to make suitable food for the babies and the children.

duration To make sure this process run smoothly we have divide it into four period which are: The pre-period. The construction period. The post period. The operation hours.

LIMITATION Very long obtain approval from ministry of women, family and community development to set up daycare. Difficult to get the person to manage the tender. Lack of security.

CONCLUSION The project that is conducted by our company is to set up a nursery especially for Celcom Center employees. Our expectation in the next five years if this project runs successful, we want to expand this KinderCare. Hope this project will success and give a good feedback.
