IES A Sangriña A Guarda. Galicia-ES GALICIA Over the last five years, an elevated increase of the migrant Students has taken place in the schools of Galicia, until exceeding fully the amount of seven thousand students, reaching at this moment 2,5% of the total of the Galician academic population which are not at the University. From 2004, the Government of Galicia has developed legislative actions and measures of specific attention to the foreign students in our Authonomic Community in order to pay attention to those students with necessity of educative reinforcement.

IES A Sangriña A Guarda. Galicia-ES Framework of inclusion of migrant students in Galicia:  Each school must elaborate his own “Recepcion Plan”.  The coordinator should be a teacher from Languages Departments.  Assignement of the “Host student”.  Special program for migrant students, wich includes several hours for Spanish and Galician language.  Subjects that they can attend initially: Mathematics, Arts, P.E. and Music.  Progressive sitting up to the other subjects.
