2 STANCE GOALS Develop and implement district-level mentoring and induction programs using National Board Certified Teachers (NBCTs) Coordinate and provide a support system for teachers/school counselors seeking National Board Certification (NBC) Process FY07 Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) payments for the Illinois Teaching Excellence Program (ITEP)

Determine your eligibility u Hold a bachelors degree u Hold a valid state teaching/school counseling license u Have completed three full years of teaching/school counseling experience  Currently have a classroom assignment uAdministrators, staff development specialists, or other potential candidates not assigned to the classroom can “borrow” a classroom to complete their portfolio.
