About the Author Elizabeth C. Reade Fong is Deputy University Librarian (Customer Services) at the University of the South Pacific where she has worked since She is responsible for customer services, human resource development and the implementation of the Library’s strategic plan. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Management from the USP and a Master of Arts in Information Science from the University of North London. Elizabeth is the Co-ordinator for the Pacific Population Information Network and Chair's the Network for Women in Higher Education in the Pacific (NetWHEP), a member of the USP Gender Advisory Committee and a Pacific member of the IFLA Regional Standing Committee for Asia and Oceania. Elizabeth C.
