Charles W. Cadrecha, Esq. The Florida Consumer Law Center was formed by attorney Charles W. Cadrecha, Esq. Born and raised in Tampa as a 4 th generation; Mr. Cadrecha attended Jesuit High School and completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Florida. Knowing he would return home, he attended Stetson University College of Law in St. Petersburg to be close to his friends and family. Mr. Cadrecha then spent his first five years out of law school as a collection attorney witnessing firsthand the abuses and harassment the collection industry was perpetrating against individuals. Not happy with being a part of what he was seeing, he left and vowed to never represent a collection company again. He formed the Florida Consumer Law Center for the purpose of advocating the rights of consumers and bringing those who are using unfair and unlawful tactics against consumers to justice.Florida Consumer Law Center Charles W. Adriel Torres Client Intake Supervisor Adriel joined Florida Consumer Law Center with over 14 years’ experience in real estate. His vast knowledge in different aspects of the field (including real estate sales, mortgage lending and origination, credit repair and debt settlement as well as extensive short sale negotiations) help the firm to offer comprehensive assistance to its clients. In addition to having been a licensed mortgage broker, Adriel was an owner in two mortgage companies. He personally oversaw the expansion of a national sub- prime lender business throughout the Florida West Coast. Adriel’s broad understanding of the real estate business is exactly what our clients need during their difficult time and financial hardship. Brad Smith Paralegal Brad joined Florida Consumer Law Center in 2011 while studying for his Advanced Training Certificate in Paralegal Studies at HCC. After graduating from the University of Tampa with a Bachelor Degree in Communications, he decided to pursue further education in law. Brad is responsible for many of the law firm’s duties, such as drawing up legal motions, scheduling client consultations and hearings, as well as organizing and maintaining clients’ files. Noreen Klein Director of Loss Mitigation Noreen began as a contractor with Florida Consumer Law Center, performing forensic loan audits and negotiating modifications and short sales for our clients in Having been in the mortgage industry for over 30 years, she has held underwriting designations from FHA, VA, FHLMC, FNMA and MGIC. Noreen owned a local mortgage company for 14 years; acquiring experience from origination, auditing, sales/servicing and management. She also taught mortgage lending for The American School of Mortgage Banking. Noreen’s extensive background in mortgages provides a professional insight into the philosophies of our clients’ lenders. A graduate of CUNY and a Tampa resident since 1983, she has been very active in community activities such as the Carrollwood Area Business Association (current President), the North Tampa Chamber of Commerce, the Carrollwood Community Bar Association and many others.
