From Our Window Hello Korea and the U.K. We are Dara Academy students. We are proud to present our slideshow to you. We hope you like what we found outside our windows!

These are our students.

From our window, I cam see a Thai girl showing respect to her parents. It shows that she is thankful and loves her parents who took care of her for along time since she was born. I feel appreciated because I realize that Thai people are kind and polite.

From our window, I can see the campanile (or a bell tower) and the Hortri ( Buddhism scripture building) of Muang Sat Luang temple. The bells on the tower are daily hit at 7 o’clock like an alarm clock for monks to wake them up and start their Buddism routine, again at 11 o’clock because it is the time for monks to have lunch together, finally in the evening around 7 p.m. since it is the signal to remind monks to say prayer together. I am so proud of being Thai who is born in the very peaceful land.

I see a very very big tree through the window of my classroom. I touch the feeling of stable because it has been with Dara Academy, my school, for a long time.

From our window, I can see the a farmer. The farmer is planting rice along with little farmers. Rice is an important food that people all over the world consume. I feel so proud because I am one of the Thais. I was born in Thailand and my country is the best factory for rice.

From our window, I can see many things that are very beautiful such as a lantern. The lantern is floated in the nights during the Loy Kratong Festival. As well, I can see extraordinary places such as Mae Ya waterfall and the night safari of Chiang Mai. The Mae Ya waterfall is very attractive and large. When I go to that place I feel fresh, the weather is so pleasant and I think everyone feels the same as I do.

Songkran’s festival in Thailand From our window, I can see there are many foreigners and Thai people are splashing the water together in Songkran’s Day. I feel really proud and glad to see this scene because in this picture, it means that many tourists are interested in the festival in Thailand and they are so happy to join the funny time with us.

From our window. I can see the Buddha image hall. In this hall, there is a Buddha Image and serpents. We believe that the serpents will protect the Buddha Image hall. The serpents are decorate with gold and many colorful jewelry. Before getting in the hall, people must take off shoes because it means you respect the place.
