A reprint is a copy of a published journal article. When including reprints as part of a thesis or dissertation, the student must complete a form provided by the Graduate School. We are currently discussing the fact that an abstract for a dissertation can spill over onto a second page. Should your abstract do this? That is a very good question. I suppose if you really need to fit in some extra information, then go for it. I would try being concise, to avoid redundancy.
