NEPAD and NPCA  NEPAD stands for New Partnership for African Development  It had been adopted by the Heads of States and Governments in 2001,Lusaka,Zambia  In February 2010, NEPAD has been integrated into the structures and processes of the AU. This included the establishment of the NEPAD Planning and Coordinating Agency (NPCA) as a Implementing body of the AU to replace the NEPAD Secretariat

NPCA Mandate The AU Assembly mandated NPCA to facilitate and coordinate the implementation of continental and regional priority programmes and projects and to mobilise resources and partners in support of their implementation.
