ITEN is a virtual network of professional leaders in Teacher Education who are willing to share knowledge, experiences, research and best practices.

Built to support horizontal cooperation, ITEN offers a virtual space for interaction for all stakeholders in the field of teacher education in the Americas.

ITEN Offers Delivery of professional development in the use of ICTs in the classroom for teacher educators and in-service teachers through online courses; Virtual space and internet tools (Blogs, forums, etc) to foster effective communication among educators, school leaders and other educational stakeholders; Technical assistance missions among countries to build capacity.
