Bank and International Phone Plans  If you child is going to be travelling with a ATM or Debit card (which is recommended) please inform your bank that he/she will be traveling to Germany and Austria.  Talk with your cell phone provider about international calling and text plans.

Voltage, Frequency and Plug/Outlet Type in Germany  Electricity in Germany is 230 Volts, alternating at 50 cycles per second. If you travel to Germany with a device that does not accept 230 Volts at 50 Hertz, you will need a voltage converter or Transformer.

Day 1 Departure (June 23 rd )  Meet at GVHS Cafeteria at 5:45 pm on Monday June 23 rd.  Depart for airport at 6:15 pm  Arrival at Philadelphia International airport 7:00 pm dinner at the airport  Departure time 10:00 pm (dinner and breakfast)  Arrival in London at 10:15 am (3 hour layover) Lunch  Depart for Berlin at 1:15 pm  Arrival in Berlin at 4:00 pm  Check into hotel followed by dinner Day 2 Arrival in Berlin (June 24 th )
