10 Benefit: AIF payments Temporary disablement: 30% of a Wholetime Firefighter’s weekly pay (12 months qualifying period for on duty injury or illness/ 6 months for off duty illness/injury) Permanent disablement: 50% of a Wholetime Firefighter’s annual salary as a lump sum Death of member: 100% of wholetime firefighter’s annual salary + 20% for each surviving dependant child Death of member’s dependant: 20% of a Wholetime Firefighter’s annual salary as a lump sum Detailed provision and exclusions are explained in Rule 30
