Population Since 1972 fewer children have been born in Switzerland than is necessary for continued population growth. In 1998 there were more deaths than births in Swiss citizens According to a forecast in 2004, between the number of children going to school will be will decrees about 100,000 kids Since 1993 the number of Swiss citizens has increased only because of the number of tourists have been welcomed.
