Who are the Religious of the Sacred Heart? An order of Catholic women religious serving in over 45 countries missionOur mission is to discover, live and announce the love of the heart of Christ in the world today Founded by St. Madeline Sophie in France in 1800

SH volunteers reflect on all that they are living, seeing & learning about themselves & others.

As an international group we share our culture & heritage with one other.

Volunteers live in pairs with host families known by local Religious of the Sacred Heart

THINGS PARENTS LIKE TO KNOW: It is very safe!! Volunteers do not roam around alone. Days are full, well- planned & supervised. This includes weekends. We do most everything as a group. We all live close to one another. Parents are given phone numbers & can call at any time. Volunteers have access to the internet to stay in contact. Cost=$250 program fee + airfare. It is very safe!!
