Black Bears  Black bears live in Georgia.  Black bears eat berries.  Black bears climb trees.

Brown Bears  Brown bears live in the United States.  Brown bears eat lizards!  Brown bears are aggressive.

Polar Bears  Polar bears live in Alaska.  Polar bears are very big.  Polar bears eat meat.

Black Bears  Black bears eat berries. If you ever see a black bear, do not try to pet him!

Brown Bears  Brown bears catch fish to eat. Brown bears will get into your food if you are camping. Be careful!

Polar Bears  Polar bears eat meat – seals and beluga whales. Pollution causes problems for the polar bear.

Are these real bears?  No! These bears are pretend. Real bears can’t dance and sing!

Never! Never! Never!  Never feed a bear! The food you eat is not good for bears. It will make them sick!

Bears can be dangerous!  Bears are wild animals. Do not go near bears. A mother bear will do anything to protect her cub. If you are camping, pack your food carefully. They can smell food anywhere – even in a locked car!
