7/1/2010 Regional Associations 3  Purpose  To promote coordination and cooperation among the CHDP programs within each region  To consider issues and policies of mutual concern  To forward questions and/or recommend appropriate action to the State CHDP Program though the Executive Committee  4 Regional Associations (RA):  Bay Area, Central, North, South

7/1/2013 Regional Associations 4  Membership includes CHDP Directors and Deputy Directors. Other local program staff may attend as invited.  Regional Associations may establish subcommittees, for example:  foster care  health education  provider relations  oral health  Each Subcommittee shall designate a representative to attend the RA meetings.  State CMS Staff attend RA meetings to provide input and expertise. 4
