 Police officers protect the public, detect and prevent crime and perform other activities directed at maintaining law and order. They are employed by municipal and federal governments, some provincial and regional governments and the Armed Forces. Patrol assigned areas to maintain public safety and order and to enforce laws and regulations well Investigate crimes and accidents, secure evidence, interview witnesses, compile notes and reports and provide testimony in courts of law.  Provide emergency assistance to victims of accidents, crimes and natural disasters.

 I find it a job that I can stay with for a long time because everyone will always need police. It will keep me out side or in paces I have never been before it will be an adventure every day.  I found it just thinking about what I want to do for the rest of my life and I do not want to do the same thing every day.

 A Six-month police training course is required this course will be provided for you  Degrees in law, Security or Social sciences may be required to further your career

 Your work prospects will continue to be rated fair.  The employment growth rate will likely be close to the average. The number of job seekers will likely match the number of job openings.  The Salary can be from $50,000-$70,000

 Police Officer can expect to work activities involve handling loads more than 20 kg or working in locations that are inherently treacherous and are potential sources of injury. Such work locations include construction sites, underground sites, erected support structures and marine environments. Work near or at equipment, instruments, machinery or power/hand tools that may be a potential source of accident or injury.

 I would not take other jobs in this field because it would require a large amount of schooling which I would not be willing to spend more time and money to guaranty nothing.  Instead I would go into the first aid field of occupation.
