Political Features of the New England Region  New England has 6 states.  They are:  Maine  New Hampshire  Vermont  Massachusetts  Connecticut  Rhode Island

Natural Resources & Economy  Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts are best known for service industries.  New England is well known for Maple Syrup, paper, and fish  New England is also known for tourism  Hartford Connecticut is known as an insurance center  Maine is known for harvesting trees from their huge forests this is a primary industry.  Two chief minerals found in New England are granite and marble.  Boston is known for publishing books. This is a secondary industry.
