EXPECTATIONS, USE, AND ABUSE HALL PASSES

HALL PASS EXPECTATIONS Every student is expected to have a yellow hall pass. All students are expected to bring their hall pass to every class each day. Students in the hallway during class time are expected to have a signed hall pass in their possession.

HALL PASS USE Students need to have a hall pass in their possession before leaving the classroom. If a student needs to go out to his/her vehicle during the school day, he/she needs to have the classroom teacher sign a hall pass, report to the office and obtain permission before going to the car. Students who check out of study hall with a library pass need to take their yellow hall pass card with them in the event that they need to check-out of the library.

HALL PASS ABUSE Any student who attempts to use another student’s hall pass will be assigned structured lunch. Any student who gives their hall pass card to another student will be assigned structured lunch. Students who lose their hall pass card can obtain a second card from the office after serving a detention. Students will not be given a third hall pass card. All students will be given a new hall pass card at the start of the 3 rd quarter.

HALL PASS CARDS All students will begin to use the back side of their hall pass card starting on Thursday, October 21. Advisory teachers are expected to place a black “X” across the front side of the hall pass card used during the first quarter during today’s Advisory Meeting.
