Grades 7&8 – SY2013-2014 English Filipino Science - Spiral Progression Approach* Mathematics - Spiral Progression Approach* *Spiral Progression Approach is used in Singapore where the same topic is taught over the years starting with the basic ideas on the first grade level and progressing into more complex ideas into the upper levels.

Grades 7&8 – SY2013-2014 Araling Panlipunan Edukasyong Pagpapakatao Music, Art, Physical Education and Health Technical-Vocational Education and Entrepreneurship One more period per week will be added for MAPEH and TVE. As a result of spiraling, Science and Math will be reduced by one period a week. Statistics will be integrated into the Regular Math.

Kto12 Levels of Proficiency Beginning (B): 74% and below Developing (D): 75% - 79% Approaching Proficiency (AP): 80% - 84% Proficient (P): 85% - 89% Advanced (A): 90% and above Grade per Subject – Level of Proficiency Final Grade – with Numerical Equivalent Honors drawn from Advanced Level

What will be taken up in Grades 11 and 12? Those topics that were pushed up as a result of the decongestion of the Grades 1 to 10 . Those that should be brought down from the Gen Ed curriculum of the first 2 years in college.
