When it all started.. Justin was born January 31rst 1981 in Memphis Tennessee Justin first found his passion for singing in the local church choir In 1993 Justin joined the Mickey Mouse Club with other stars such as Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera. This is also where he met fellow ‘NSync band mate JC Chavez. (1:26)

‘N Sync After meeting JC Chavez on the Mickey Mouse Club set, the two along with Lance Bass, Joey Fatone, and Chris Kirkpatrick created the 1990’s teen pop sensation known as ‘N Sync The band’s name was created by using the last letters of each of the member’s first names. In early 2000 “Bye Bye Bye” became one of their biggest hits. The single preceded the album No Strings Attached, which shattered the all-time record for most copies sold in an album's first week of release with 2.4 million. The second single “It’s Gonna Be Me” hit number one on the pop singles chart, and sold 17 million copies worldwide.

Solo Career In 2002, Timberlake decided to pursue a solo career, debuting with the hit song "Like I Love You.” He then released his first solo album, Justified, which sold over 7 million copies worldwide. He received two Grammy Awards in 2004 for Best Pop Vocal Album and Best Male Pop Vocal Performance. Here is the hit song off of the Justified album, “Cry Me a River”..

Solo Success In 2005 Justin started his own record company known as JayTee Records In 2006 Justin released perhaps his most successful album yet, Future Sex Love Sounds which debuted at number one on the Billboard chart. The album's lead single, "SexyBack", spent several consecutive weeks at number one as well. This year Timberlake released yet another album The 20/20 Experience with the leading hit single “Suit and Tie” topping charts.

Music As an artist Justin has always followed the very popular beats and sounds, his music always being extremely versatile in sound, instrumental accompaniments, solo or with other artists (Black Eyed Peas, Madonna, Nelly) He has songs lying along the lines of pop, rock, rap, even country. There is not a genre of music Justin has not performed.
