 What is a web browser?  Help when using browsers.  Homepage in your browser.  Buttons on a browser.  Bars on a browser.

 Software Program.  When was it developed?  Early 1990’s.

 Online handbook.  What are the two most popular browsers at this time?  Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer.  Did you know?????  When downloading a browser, it’s FREE!!!!

 The first page of a website is its homepage.  How do you set your homepage?  Download it from a website.  Homepage when buying a new computer.  Click a button on internet toolbar.

 Back and Forward Buttons Back and Forward Buttons  Return to previous pages or coming back.  Home Home  Takes you to homepage.  Reload/Refresh Reload/Refresh  Load the webpage again.

 Stop Button Stop Button  Helps you stop a webpage from loading.  Favorites/Bookmarks Favorites/Bookmarks  Record your favorite websites you often visit.

 Address Bar Address Bar  You write the URL of a website.  Menu Bar Menu Bar  Offers you many things to access.  Access Indicator Access Indicator  Shows you that it’s downloading files.  Status Bar Status Bar  Progress of webpage transactions.
