FIESTA Goal(s)- To know the culture of different communities.

Expected Outputs Students will - * wear different dresses. * decorate their classrooms with the theme of festival * take some photographs. * arrange cultural functions. * act. * prepare dishes of different food items. * be skilled on English Language. * be able to work in group.

Objectives: The students will be able to prepare a list and purpose of festivals describe the history of the festivals. arrange the festivals. write articles, stories. draw cartoons. make different foods.

Description in Brief Twenty students of Amena-Baki Residential Model School and Rangamati Govt. High School will work for this project. The age of the students is between 11 and 12. We will run this projects for five months (June/2011 to October/2011). To do the works of the project fiesta the students should know about the name of the festivals. They will find out the history and purpose of the festivals from specific books or from individual persons who know about those festivals. They will arrange the requirements to organise the festivals. They will buy or make their favorite dresses to celebrate the festivals. The students will work together. They will write different articles, stories. They will make cartoon comics. They will prepare delicious foods related to the festivals. They will draw or paint their class rooms to celebrate the festivals. They will make some scrapbooks. They will operate camera by imagining a theme of the festivals and take photographs. Every festival gives a lesson or a massage to the society. So they will think and understand the value of the festivals and will share all these to their partner school abroad. To share these everything they should know the use of ICT as well as English Skill. Overall the students will do what the situation demands.
