Relative pronouns We use relative pronouns to replace nouns and give more information about them. who= a person / people that= a thing / things where= a place / places

This is Susan. She is a nurse. This is Susan who is a nurse.

Mr Lam is a teacher. He won the ‘Good Citizen’ award in Mr Lam is the teacher who won the ‘Good Citizen’ award in 2005.

Mrs Ho and Mr Brown are teachers. They teach us Maths and English. Mrs Ho and Mr Brown are the teachers who teach us Maths and English.
