Salmon Fishery Failure: Pacific Coast Leaders Ask for Emergency Funding Following Secretary of Commerce Carlos Gutierrez's declaration earlier this month of a Commercial Fisheries Failure off the coasts of California and Oregon, the Senators and Governors from all three Western Coastal states today called for emergency funds to be provided to help the affected fishing communities.

Where are we now? 'Red List' Sheds Light on Species Extinction Crisis by John Nielsen

What are the threats to Biodiversity?

What groups are most vulnerable? Red Wolf

What areas are most vulnerable?

In-Situ Management Techniques Acquisition –Expansion –Corridors Habitat Management –Control of the Plant Community –Provision of Critical Habitat Features Management of Populations –Control of Interactions –Augmentation Translocation Release of Captive Bred Individuals
