What is social reporting? Social reporting is an emerging : -role -set of skills -philosophy which mixes journalism, facilitation and social media Social reporting: -helps people develop conversations -allows those “not in the room” to follow the event -fosters collaboration because stories are developed TOGETHER -uses a variety of techniques such as story-telling, interviews, videos, photography to tell the STORY -provides a record of the event Social reporter is a social artist
