When were Orca’s discovered? Orca’s were discovered in 1558 in Bay of Greifswald. Konrad Gessner wrote the first scientific description of a Killer Whale in “Fish Book”. The book was based on an examination of a dead stranded animal in the Bay of Greifswald. Killer Whales originated from all the oceans there is not a specific place. Killer Whales are part of the dolphin family which was first appeared 11 million years ago.

Killer Whale and Plants Killer whales are carnivores which means they do not eat plants. Killer Whales eat sea lions ( seals), fish, squid, small marine animals, seabirds, and sometimes other whales. Using a food chain I came to algae being closest to the plants Killer Whales eat.
