Definition of autism Is a disorder of neutral development characterized by impaired social interaction and communication. Affects information processing in the brain by altering how nerve cells connect and organize. Has a strong genetic basis and the genetics of autism are complex.

Different types of autism There are many different types of known autism, the main three are: Autistic Disorder: 1.It is the most serious of all types. 2. Also known as true autism, this disorder results behaviors, interests, and activities. Pervasive Developmental Disorder: 1.It is typical autism, this is less serious than true autism. 2.People with this type of autism think literally and not understand humor Asperger's Disorder: 1.It is the least serious of all types. 2.Children with this disorder show little, if any, general language delay.

What causes autism? The brain shows abnormalities in the frontal lobes and brain stem. The higher incidence of autism in families points to a genetic aspect. Toxins enter the bloodstream and reach the brain to cause havoc in many sensory and cognitive functions.

Signs of autism Parents usually notice signs in the first two years of their child's life. The signs of autism are: 1.Communicating verbally and non-verbally. 2.Relating to others and the world around them. 3.Thinking and behaving flexibility.

is there a cure?! Although there is no known cure, there have been reported cases of children who recovered autism. Not many children with autism live independently after reaching adulthood, though some become successful.

Know people that suffer from autism who succeeded in their lives John Elder Robinson: Author and autistic. Thomas McKean: Advocate & autism community leader. Jason McElwain: Autistic high-school basketball wonder. Donna Williams: Bestselling author and autistic. Tim Page: Writer and editor.

More… Satoshi Tajiri: The creator of Pokémon. Matt Savage: U.S. autistic jazz prodigy. Temple Grandin: Animal and autistic advocate. Daniel Tammet: One of the geniuses in the world today. Daniel is known as “Brainman.”

Conclusion “Do Autistic Children Have Special Gifts?” Even if autistic people suffer from their disorder, but they must always remember that they are unique, because their DNA is different from anybody else. Autistic people are special because some of them become successful after working hard, so they value their accomplishments highly. YOU CAN DO IT IF YOU TRY!!!!!!
