NATIONAL IMPLEMENTATION PLAN ON STOCKHOLM CONVENTION ( UNIDO PROJECT) The basic knowledge on this Project was book of “Pesticides and Environment” published by “Ruzgar” under coordination and consultation of “Ecoaccord” 3 NGOs were involved to NIP Process as “Ruzgar” –member of Steering Committee and member of pesticide group “Ecoil” –Head of PCB group “Ecoscop”- Public Awareness group

Lobbying of Government to eliminate of pesticide “Hot-spot” in Dayikend area During January-March 2008 from Dayikend (Salyan district) to the Storage facility for toxic wastes transported DDT- 2.0 ton Polidafen – 40 ton (more 400 batts) CaSO4 + Ca3(PO4) ton Mixture Soil+ Pesticides Cub meter For Restoration of 900 Cub meter pure soil transported into area

NGO benefits -Cooperation for resolution urgent problems of the population - Raising of public awareness and creation of rational collaboration between NGOs and communities -Institutional and individual capacities development -Increase trust to NGO -Increase confidence of the capacity and attempts of the decision of other social-environmental problems
