Voodoo Meaning a charm, spell or curse holding magic power of voodoo. Comes from the African word for Spirit Communicating in dreams, trances and ritual possessions Can exist only in the minds of those who believe it. hoodoo- person who practices voodoo

origin of Voodoo Vodun, is the actual religion, and is not considered evil, but Voodoo was created by the movie makers, and does not exist in reality. Voodoo dolls, violence, unusual rituals Comes from the Republic of Haiti, western part of the island of Hispaniola and caribbean counties. Still exists today in the old south. Over 60 million people practice Vodun worldwide.
