DEATH ROW IN THE U.S. This project looks at the number of death row inmates in each state, and relates that number to the number of people murdered in that state in one year. I would like to know how well the Death Penalty influences the amount of murders committed in each state. Most of my information came from the Death Penalty Information Center and Bureau of Justice Statistics Christopher Davis Doug Oetter Final Project GIS

Conclusion As can be seen from the data, Texas was in one of the top two spots in every category I researched. Even though they execute a large number of people, they still have a high number of murders that are being committed.
