SCBA CLEANING Monthly and after use. Use mild detergent (dish soap) or Confidence Plus mixed at ½ ounce per gallon of water. Use a brush if necessary. Clean all sheet rock and other caked on material.

Cleaning the SCBA Keep water out of 2 nd stage regulator. Use brush, check bell for sheet rock. Hang to air dry.

Monthly/After Use Checks Inspection of Back Pack Straps Hoses- Free of cuts, abrasions other damage Audi-Alarm Coupling Nut- Threads not damaged and O-Ring in place. URC- Check for tightness

Monthly/After Use Checks Seal Check- Mask on bottle off. Gently inhale and hold for 10 seconds. If negative pressure cannot be maintained Red Tag and take out of service. PASS Device Checks: Missing screws or loose covers Signs of leaking covers or water retentions in case

Monthly/After Use Checks Damaged or missing buttons on the unit Any visible signs of damage to components Proper operation of buttons Proper and secure attachment of all components
