Sources of Funding, Resources, and Grants for Crime Prevention Programs Presented by American Crime Prevention Institute

State and Federal Grants Edward Byrne Memorial State and Local Law Enforcement Assistance Program Created by the Federal Anti-Drug Abuse Act of 1986, Byrne funds are awarded to each state. These funds are then sub-granted to state and local governmental agencies for projects that are consistent with congressionally approved criminal justice and drug control issues.
