Aim: Develop special effects skills by creating fairies or elves Unit 95 special effects make-up – Fairies, elves Objectives: Students will be able to:  Devise a make-up plan for character make-up, carry out a full consultation and identify the special effects requirements. (Proof reading).  Identify and apply one new material or skills within your fairy/ elf make-up look.  Demonstrate character make-up application of your choice – Fairies or elves. (Calculating time).  Evaluate the overall outcome of your application. Extended objectives:  Appraise one peer’s applications and set 2 targets of improvement for their treatment. EQ Objectives:  Identify your strengths and what you are good at.  Identify the areas you need to improve

You must:  Create a name for your fairy.  Create a colour theme /background for your fairy  Identify the special effects requirements for your fairy. You must include either a new material, product or technique.  Devise a make-up plan for your fairy. Assignment Task 1 and 2 – P1, M1, D1, P2, M2, D2.
