 scientific name : Actinidi deliciosa  Family:actinidiaceae

 There's 36 species of kiwi and all these breeds is a perennial plants up to the age of years, which are either creeping or climbing trees or planted on the pillars also planted near the walls of houses.

 Kiwi fruit contains 10% sugars  1% protein  minerals such as potassium  Calcium  magnesium  phosphorus  80% of fruits water

 dioecious or unisexual  Flower color white at first, changing to buff- yellow  Male and female flowers appear on different plants (dioecious), and both sexes have to be planted in close proximity for fruit set. Bees are normally used by commercial orchards, although the more labour-intensive hand pollination is sometimes employed.

 Its leaves are alternate, oval to nearly circular, cordate at the base,  Young leaves are coated with red hairs; mature leaves are dark-green and hairless on the upper surface 

 In the summer, it needs awarm weather and in the winter the plant needs for low temperature limits hour cooler depending on varieties and so the air temperature drops to less than 8 degrees Celsius for the differentiation of floral buds..

humidity must not be less than 60 percent, and the most suitable land for the cultivation of kiwi is land rich in organic matter and good drainage

 The plant is sensitive to the lack of water in the soil and must be maintained at the level of humidity between percent of the orchard and advised to use localized irrigation dotting or short spray does not allow the water collects in the spread of the root zone because they cause rot and root suffocation

 Kiwi fruit oval  Epicarp brown  The pulp is often green in color and has a small black seeds  The flesh is firm until fully ripened  The flavor is acid to quite acid; the flavor is suggested to be similar to that of the or strawberry

 we Can propagation kiwi by seeds and is mostly for scientific research and either way they are used Cutting

 Kiwi fruit should be picked before the first frosts and placed with other ripe fruit in the fruit bowl to encourage ripening. They should be ripe in a few weeks. Harvested fruit will keep for up to three months in a plastic bag in the refrigerator.
