Carbon Cycle The movement of carbon from the non-living environment into living things and back

Major Elements CO2 O: Oxygen C: Carbon C6H12O6:Glucose

Dead organism: something that was once living

Carbon sink: natural or artificial reservoir that accumulates and stores more carbon than it releases Examples: Forests, soils, oceans and the atmosphere
