 India is in the big league- a trillion dollar economy!  million youth in the labour force  Next 4 years – 25% of the world’s workers will be Indians  India’s working age population will increase from 58% in 2001 to 64% in 2025

 Only 28% of the graduates are employable  90% of the jobs require vocational skills  53% of the employed youth suffer from skill deprivation  Only 7% of the age-group has received some form of vocational training  1.2 lakh young Indians from the creamy sector go abroad for higher education  Education has improved – every year lakhs of students pass out of colleges, number of jobs are very less.
