What is a parable?  A story of something familiar from life experiences used to teach a truth about God and the kingdom  The parables revealed TRUTH

 Dogma  A truth revealed by God that is officially defined by the Church as an article of faith for Catholics Who decides what is “dogma”? The Magisterium: the teaching authority of the Church
