Virginia T. McLemore, Kelly Donahue, Christian B. Krueger, Amanda Rowe, Linda Ulbricht, Meghan L. Jackson, Michael R. Breese, Glen Jones, and Maureen Wilks

ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS Funded in part by New Mexico State Land Office, EPA, and NMBGMR

Purpose to provide data on uranium occurrences, mines, and mills in New Mexico to federal, state, and local agencies, public organizations, private industry, and individual citizens

Purpose — continued to make informed decisions about –resource development and management, –water supplies, –land use, –environmental impacts, –natural hazard assessment, and –waste disposal.

AVAILABLE DATA Location (= GIS, point and polygon data), Production, reserves, resource potential Geologic, Geochemical (rock, water, ect.), Well data, Historical and recent photographs, Mining methods, maps, Ownership, and Other data.

SHORT TERM GOALS Continue adding data to the database from NMBGMR files Add detailed production data to the database Add historic uranium photos to the database Add polygon data showing extent of uranium deposits in GIS format Add new geochemical data

LONG TERM GOALS Combine this database with the mines database and put on the NMBGMR WEB page (1-2 years) Provide a mechanism such that when new data, especially geochemical, is acquired, the database is easily updated Add additional types of data Maintain quality control of the data
