Unit 1 P4. Inter-relationships WALT To look at the different ways in which companies work together and the benefits it brings. WILF That you can demonstrate how companies work together by giving examples.

For P4, you must describe the interrelationships between organisations, including working together and common ownership. The descriptions should be illustrated with a minimum of two examples of each type of interrelationship. An example for working together could be Virgin Trains and Alton Towers, which have collaborated to provide an inclusive ticket which provides transport from various locations and admission to the theme park. You should provide enough examples of relationships to include domestic, outbound and inbound organisations.

Other supporting companies Tourist information offices in the South East (public) Visitor attractions HMS Warrior (public) Thorpe Park (private) Tourism South East (public company) To encourage domestic and inbound visitors Spinnaker tower (public / private) Coach Lucketts (private) Ferry Wightlink (private) Hotels The Marriot (private) Guest Houses Camping sites Travel providers Kingfisher (private) Accommodation providers Rail
