GT Summer Camps weeks of middle school camp –Two weeks of Scratch and PICO Crickets (7-8 th ) –Two weeks of Alice and LEGO robots (7-9 th ) –One week of RoboCup Jr. camp 3 weeks of high school camp (10-12 th) –Two weeks of Alice, LEGO robots, Media Computation in Python –One week of RoboCup Jr.

Summer Camp Fees $10 application fee (not refundable) Middle school camps were $275 –Refundable up to 1 week before –20 kids each session Ratio of 1 student assistant per 10 kids High school camps were $75 –Refundable up to 1 week before –20-30 kids each session Ratio of 1 student assistant per kids

Camp Hours Middle School Camps: 9:00AM to 3:00 PM –Morning Drop Off: 8:15 AM to 8:55AM –Afternoon Pick Up: 3:15 PM to 4:15 PM High School Camps: 9:00AM to 3:00 PM –Morning Drop Off: 8:15 AM to 8:55AM –Afternoon Pick Up: 3:15 PM to 4:15 PM

Admission Requirements Academic Requirements –B average in math and science or 70+% on standardized tests Must submit a copy of report card or test results Required Forms for Admission –On-line registration form –Teacher Recommendation Form from a current teacher Give the teacher a stamped and addressed envelope –Parental Release Form –Financial Assistance Application Form and supporting documents (if applicable).

Additional Forms Due 3 weeks before camp starts –Parent or Guardian Information Form –Authorization for Pick-up form –Medical release and emergency contact form / Health Form

Sample Schedule 8:15 AM – 8:55 AM Drop-off 9:00 AM - 11:30 AM Morning Session 1 10:30 AM - 10:45 AM Break 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM Lunch 12:30 PM - 3:00 PM Afternoon Session 3:15 PM – 4:15 or 5:15 PM Pickup and extracurricular lab time

Recreation The middle school camps usually have one afternoon that they do a recreational activity –Usually bowling or swimming The high school camps usually have 1-2 days of recreational activities –At least one tour/scavenger hunt –Take pictures at spots around campus
