 THE CONCEPT OF CLIMATE CHANGE.

 In the past decade, it has been called everything from the “greatest hoax ever perpetrated on mankind” to the “greatest challenge to face man”.  There have been conventions, coalitions, and conferences held in its name.  Hundreds of politicians have discussed, debated and even come to agree on possible solutions armed with which we might stand and face its impending challenge.  Millions of people have individually altered their own lifestyles and together they have walked, ran and biked in fierce protest. The issue at hand is climate change, and it has literally and figuratively taken over every corner of our world by storm.

 The main cause of climate change is the greenhouse effect.  This is the warming of the surface or lower atmosphere of a planet.  This is caused by air pollution. When you burn fossil fuels, you produce greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, methane, etc. the sun doesn’t infrared some of these gases and they are trapped on the lower atmosphere, thus rising temperatures worldwide.  Air Pollution  Pesticides  Acid Rain  Polluted Water  Oil Spill cleanup  Land pollution
