Transportation Alternatives Program o Combines previously separate programs Transportation Enhancements Safe Routes to School Scenic Byways Recreational Trails o Eliminates some project categories and some sponsors

Federal Cost Share Program o 80% Federal/20% State or Local o PennDOT will fund only the construction phase Approximately $41 million available o $25 million statewide o $16 million in Large MPO areas
