Systems Automatic vents, powered doors, fire stopping, EVAC intercoms, lift installations, etc. Designed and in stalled to the appropriate code of practice and installed to the manufactures instructions. Certified, commissioned and tested by a competent person with the appropriate level of accreditation

Part B vol 2 Appendix G At the completion of the project and dependant on the complexity of the building you will need to provide certain information for the end user. As built drawings showing fire related items The fire strategy Design assumptions Escape strategy Passive fire safety measures Fire safety systems Regulation 16 requires that for relevant buildings fire safety information is given at completion or when first occupied.

Drainage Construction and inspection Design information on the plans and details or in the specification indicating how the requirements within the approved document (falls, sizing, materials) or code of practice is to be met. A site test should be carried out and witnessed on the below and above ground installation. In some instances the SW system will also need to be tested.

Independent certification All of the above could be the subject of an independent scheme of certification and accreditation. You should tell building control before the commencement of the works the intention to use such a system. Details of registration, etc will be required.
