Learning Activity Deconstruction STING 101 Successfully transitioning into new goals

Targeted Audience:  Participants in this college preparatory program  student that have a defined goal of obtaining a bachelors degree  1 st generation & low income as defined by the U.S. Department of Education.  Students from a local public school high school  17 – 19 age range  varied academic standing  grade point average ranges from a  expected diploma type: regular diploma or a distinguished diploma  A minimum of 3 college credit hours.

 Unit One: The learners will gain knowledge of college preparation definitions  Unit Two: The learners will demonstrate understanding of definitions through instruction to peers/parents  Unit Three: The learners will use application & analyze when and how to complete college entry steps  Unit Four: The learners will evaluate and create various admissions applications, testing and financial aid.
