Essay Outline Poetry Unit

Thesis Statements Both poems are similar in that they both believe that love is all they need, but they differ in that they have two completely different meanings.

Introduction Start with a general statement about poetry Introduce the idea of the two poems you are writing about Introduce the authors and titles of the poems Give a short summary of each poem Thesis statement – comparisons and contrasts
