Learning the Careers in Agriculture

Objective #1 The learner will provide the definition of a career.

What is a career? A chosen pursuit; a profession or occupation. A career is a life-work chosen by a person to use personal talent, provide some service or goods, earn money, and contribute to society. Careers are those the particular occupation for which you are trained.

What are the seven agriculture career pathways? Food Products and Processing Systems Plant Systems Animal Systems Power, Structure and Technical Systems Natural Resource Systems Environmental Service Systems and Agribusiness Systems

Objective #2 The leaner will identify and categorize the scope of the different careers into agriculture pathways.
